Aurora Property Management

Although Cambridge Management is not located within the city of Aurora, we are very fortunate to provide property management services to a retail establishment property in this community. Cambridge Management proudly offers its property management services to North Eola Plaza in Aurora – a 15,000 square feet center completed in 2002. This property is fully leased providing many neighborhood services including hair, tanning, exercise, pizza and sandwiches.

The City of Aurora is accessible through five interchanges on the East/West Tollway corridor. Aurora extends into four counties, Kane, DuPage, Kendall and Will.

The City of Lights

Known as the City of Lights, the City of Aurora has a population of 157,267 and has steadily grown to become the second largest city in the State. The nickname for Aurora was achieved when Aurora became the first in the United States to use electricity for public lighting of the entire city.

Auroras Parks & Recreation supply the city with an 18 hole golf course, Fox Valley Golf Club. Garfield Park in Aurora is a 28 acre park hosting two little league fields, horseshoe courts, roller hockey rink, playground, basketball courts, tennis courts and a winter ice rink. Mastodon Island features a tusk maze and a mastodon slide, a gazebo complete with tiered seating is available to local schools for their education programs. Philips Park is over 325 acres which include a visitors center and mastodon gallery, a sunken garden, zoo and aquatic center.

The City of Aurora was named in 2008 by Money Magazine as one of the best places in the county to live. Aurora obtained ranking of 74 out of 100.

The beautiful city of Aurora on the Fox River has a lot to offer. Founded in 1857, Aurora is about 40 miles west of Chicago and has grown steadily since the first settlers built a mill on the Fox River.

From a population of 99,581 in 1990 to a population of 157,267 in 2000, Aurora ranked among the top 25 fastest growing cities in the nation, according to USA Today. That trend continued in 2001 when Aurora housing property starts numbered 2,045, the sixth straight year more than 1,000 new housing property starts were initiated. Auroras economy has grown as well. For the seventh consecutive year, more than 2,000 jobs were added to the Aurora’s employment figures in 2001. These new Aurora jobs resulted from more than $251 million dollars investment in new commercial and industrial development.
